The Waterloo, Wisconsin-based company introduced the boost 148 last year, this allows the 29" wheeled trail machines to allow the 27.5+ wheels and tires into the frame making for a dual purpose trail bike and off trail ripper with the fat rubbered 27.5+ that serve little purpose other than just being kick ass fun. Think off cambered hills sides covered in pine needles, wheelies over unnecessary logs and turning small gulches into a terrain park without ever touching it with a shovel. Or just ride it on regular trails for increased stability and traction.
“One bike, two rides,” as I like to call the concept. Will it float on our new groomed single track snow? Jesse
